Tasmanian COVID-19 Small Business Advice and Financial Guidance Grant Program
Tasmanian small to medium businesses have been doing it tough over the last 18 months - especially with the recent border closures particularly impacting the tourism and hospitality industries.
A new Tasmanian COVID-19 Small Business Advice and Financial Guidance Program grant is accepting applications now.
Eligible applicants will receive a grant of between $750 and $1,500 to obtain financial or business guidance services from a suitably qualified specialist/consultant to assist small businesses with:
Advice, support, counselling, and the development of strategies to address financial/operational difficulties being experienced by the applicant.
The development of risk management strategies.
Strategic analysis.
Advice and analysis regarding the management of cash flow, preparation of cash flow budgets and projections.
Profitability analysis.
The formulation of financial/operational strategies to assist businesses address the impact of COVID-19.
The development of business plans and governance frameworks.
Advice regarding the management of debts and liabilities.
Advice on pivoting, diversification, product innovation, marketing or online presence.
Eligible small to medium businesses are those with less than 19 full-time employees and a turnover greater than $25k per annum and based in Tasmania.
Applicants will need to provide a quote and proof of appointment with their service provider they have selected - MDH Accounting are happy to provide a quote for financial advice services.
The grant program is open for applications from now until 30th May 2022, 2:00 pm OR when the total funding ($400, 000) has been allocated.
